Max - East Yorkshire

Max is a beautiful young male on the lookout for a new home as his owners are unable to dedicate as much time to him as he needs. Max is a timid boy who first ignored our volunteer when they went to meet him. He took himself to his crate and came out a little while later. Once he came around he was a friendly boy who enjoyed being petted and demanded attention.
He desperately needs someone who will be patient with him as it may take him a minute to feel at home and come out of his shell. Max is a sweet boy who can be rehomed with older children / teenagers.
Max is good with dogs and has always lived with them so he would be happy living with another dog again. He would however benefit from some one to one time and training sessions with his owner to help build his confidence. He has not been cat tested.
This lovely boy knows basic commands such as sit, wait and stop. He gets very excited when it's time to put his lead on to go for a walk but he walks nicely on the lead and has good recall.
Max lacks confidence and would love to live with someone who can spend plenty of time with him and gradually get him used to being left on his own. He suffers from separation anxiety and will become vocal and destructive if left for long periods of time.
This gorgeous pup is only 9 months old and deserves an understanding and loving home where he can grow into a happy and confident dog.
