Rex - Co Durham

Rex - Co Durham
Rex had a sad start to life in Romania where he was kept chained to a doorway with his brother. Both puppies were then poisoned and were taken to the vet for treatment, sadly Rex's brother died. Since arriving in the UK he has been in foster and has been a little treasure.

An update from his foster mum: is confident enough now to go out walking and is happy to meet other dogs and will approach people with no problems ( he wants to be every body's friend). Still a bit nervy with large vehicles or sudden movements close to him but walking on a slip lead with no problems. He didn't like the harness.

Now eating WAINWRIGHTS wet and dry food mixed together as he got the runs from ordinary dog food and doesn't like just dry food.

He is very quick to learn and apart from the first couple of days there have been no accidents in the house. I don't want to tempt fate but would say he is housetrained, albeit only going in the garden as not too sure about the outside world yet.

He has no problems being brushed and will lay on the floor to allow his paws to be wiped when he comes back into the house from muddy walks.

Great at night times, he will happily go into his crate with a treat (he loves his food) and will go for eight hours without needing out. Not possessive over his food or toys and will allow you to take his dish or toy away. Not only a gorgeous looking dog but one that is happy to play and please.
