Duke - Warwickshire

Duke is 18 months old, pretty well trained with basic commands both on and off lead. He met our volunteer with a sniff and within seconds was happy to be fussed and more importantly get a new friend to play fetch with him. Duke is a typical youngster full of energy and he can get giddy, In the home he is much more in tune with his male owner and can lack respect for his female owner. Duke has a wheat allergy and is fed grain free with no problems, he sometimes get itchy ears so he has them wiped daily as part of his grooming routine. On the lead he initially pulls but once corrected walks well, off lead Duke has good recall. Duke is generally okay with other dogs but will react if they challenge him, especially on the lead. He walks regularly with a Springer with no problems. Beautiful handsome boy who would suit most homes. We are told Duke does like company and therefore best either living with another dog or with potential adopters who are around the home most of the time.
