Meet Duke, our 4yr old neutered blue boy looking for his furever home. Duke is microchipped, but not vaccinated. Duke is a lovely, big strong boy who is need of some training on lead. He doesn't get walked very often as his current owners say he is too strong for them.
Duke's coat is in need of some attention, but nothing that a good grooming can't sort out, and he does need a bit more meat on his bones, as under that fluffy coat he is quite a skinny boy. He is quite bouncy and full of energy and enthusiasm so will need teaching a few manners, both inside and outside the home, though regular exercise and some basic training will go a long way to putting him on the right track.
Duke is good with other dogs, he lives with 2 little ones at the moment, but not keen on staffies since he was attacked by one as a youngster. He will chase cats given the chance, but is good with children. Duke is currently living with 2 toddlers, though we do feel he would be better homed with older children as he is rather large and clumsy and may easily knock them over.
Our assessor found Duke to be a lovely, friendly lad, who just needs someone who is prepared to put the time and effort into teaching him how a well mannered dog behaves. Our assessor says he does come with one warning..... He loves giving lots of kisses :)
