Duke is a mere 10 months old and sadly kooking for his new forever home as his owners really don't have time for him.
The vounteer found a "lovely" boy, a gorgeous soft boistrpous large puppy lacking in any form of training stimulation or walks.He barked at her when she arrived, and when she sat in the kitchen he tried to mug her of her bag, he was jumping at the table and trying to mouth her arm. None of this is aggression jusat a large puppy who hasn't been taught right from wrong. She got a toy from her bag and he was delighted, like a child at chritmas
At first he wouldn't drop it but quickly learnt that if he gave it back it would be rethrown. He played tug of war and was happy to win or lose. Very soft mouthed.
He pulls like a train on the lead but the volunteer doesn't think that he is ever walked , so not getting any physical or mental stimulation.
He would fit into a family home with people who aren't fazed by his eagerness in everything that he does. He needs boundaries and consistency, p;eolple willing to work with him, teach him how to be a dog. A busy family who want to take Duke with them when they go on outings.
