This handsome young dog is Rex who is a 2-year-old castrated black and tan short coated male. He is good with other dogs, cats and would be fine with older children.
Rex was rescued by his current owner, from an abusive owner who kept him in very bad conditions, neglected him and hit him. He was going to be put to sleep because they did not know how to handle and train him.
His current owner has worked really hard to develop Rex's training and interaction with people and other dogs. Rex has come a long way but he will need a firm, strong owner with GSD experience who will carry on with Rex's training and not let him become the boss.
Rex is only being rehomed because of personal circumstances and change in working patterns which would mean that Rex would spend a lot of time in kennels whilst his owner works abroad.
The current owner is only too willing to help with the transition into Rexs'new home for the benefit of Rex and his new family.
