Well this handsome young man is Diesel who is a long haired black and dark tan…..very very cute boy. The owner has only recently acquired Diesel so doesn't know if he is neutered, chipped or vaccinated! She thinks his age is 3 maybe 4. He has no known medical conditions.
Diesel seems a very bright bouncy boy, that didn’t bark or show any signs of wariness, apprehension or aggression when our volunteer was introduced, he seems confident and playful. From what our volunteer observed, there are basic commands that are adopted.
Quite a well-built dog that once excited jumped up a lot and stood head height. Didn’t bite or show signs of aggression however became a little mouthy while playing - this would be very easy to reform though]
Current situation is one that we feel needs attention asap as it is totally unsuitable for Diesel. The son claims he’d had the dog from a work colleague against the wishes of the home owner [mother?]. Diesel has only been in this environment for 1 week!!.
By all accounts Diesel is fine with other dogs, unsure about cats or young children. We feel he would be fine with mature children not tot’s as he is a boisterous boy.
Diesel seemed to be very food/treat orientated. Recall is non-existent and the owner says he pulls on a lead.
Diesel really needs to be moved out of his current situation as soon as possible for his own best interests
