Diesel is just 10 months old and needing to find a new forever home due to current owners not having the time to bring on this youngster. He greeted our volunteer with a bark and an excitable jump around, he soon settles as treat orientated. In his current house they feel Diesel is a "hyper" dog our volunteer feels that this youngster needs more to do, more training, exercise and stimulation. Outside with her GSD Diesel was happy to play in an open field and indeed loved sharing a stick and running with his new doggie pal. On the lead he is strong and will probably need further training and perhaps a dogmatic head collar for more control. Diesel is a typical youngster, he is vocal and will bark when he sees other dogs and also if taken out in the car. All these traits are common to shepherds and he just needs to be within a household where they wont be phased and can channel this lads energy. Diesel currently lives with young children who he is fine around but when the children start screaming in play, Diesel gets as excited as them so going forward perhaps older children to live with. Diesel is toy and treat orientated so further training can be reward based, Diesel is a youngster who is much loved but perhaps needs a quieter home and a placid dog to live with?
