Well look at this little man. Diego is only 10 months old and is a bouncy GSD X Springer Spaniel. He was given as a present to an elderly lady who really couldn't have looked after the needs of a young bouncy puppy.
He has been in his present home only 10 days so not long enough to be settled and calm. When the volunteer arrived Diego happily allowed her in then started barking at her. She oiffered him some treats and he stopped then started again. Eventually he decidied that playing was better than barking.
The volunteer sat in the sofa to fill out the paperwork and Diego was all over her, mouthing nibbling hair ears, typical pup behaviours . He is also in a chewing phase so we think he will need crate training iuf going to be left for periods of time.
He goes on the school run and gets to meet lots of other dogs which he thoroughly enjoys. He does pull on the lead but is controllable and he is very good off lead. Would definitely enjoy scent work or using his nose.
Apart from his puppy tendencies he is a very well behaved, well rounded confident young man
