Dexter is a stunning looking lad who barked like crazy when our assessor arrived, once entering the premises he sniffed one hand and then look dis-interested but when approached again growled and was definitely not pleased to have anyone in his space. The current owners have had him six months and in that time have not been able to socialise Dexter with other dogs as he is not comfortable around them, he is also quite reactive within the home and though okay with the male of the property has shown aggression and nipped the female in the home. Dexter appears quite an aloof boy who seems to respect his current dad but at the moment no one or nothing outside seems to interest him. Dexter needs to find an experienced adult only home where they can work with his behaviour and try and settle the lad into being a dog and find the switch to calm and relax this boy. Booster was due 2015. Dexter lives with a cat in his current home but they are kept apart.
