And another youngster sadly looking for a new home. This stunner is the lovely Dexter.
Dexter is a nervous boy who would like someone who is calm and can slowly give him the confidence to enjoy life.
His owners sadly work full time and are also moving so there is a lot going on and we are sure that Dexter is reacting to this situation. He is need of training and socialisation out of the home. He is said to be good off lead but can be quite reactive when on the lead.
He is nervous of strangers coming into the home but if ignored and allowed to come forward in his own time he settles quite quickly. The volunteers managed to play with him and take him out for a walk.
Dexter currently lives with a cat. Please remember that although he lives with a cat it may take time and lots of it to introduce to a nw cat and provisions should be made to keep them separate and introduce very slowly.
Dexter says that he would like a home who are prepared to put in lots of training and work with him out of the home. He wants you to know that he will not be perfect on day one but if you are patient and give him time to settle, set boundaries and teach him how to behave he promises to become the best member of yur family....
Just a small challenge but one that will be well worth it
