Delta is a thoroughly lovely girl who is very friendly and gentle. She lives with two cats and is great with them. One of the cats came into the house whilst I was there and Delta just looked at him and later even gave him a lick.
When I entered the house she greeted me in a friendly manner. She didn’t bark, she just squeaked with excitement! She does get a little excited so if she was rehomed with very young children she may knock them over albeit unintentionally.
Delta shows no sign of aggression. She does bark at other dogs when on the lead and that really is her only problem. This is however more out of nervousness rather than aggression. She is fine if properly introduced to other dogs and at one stage was living with another GSD and Collie.
She is used to going in the car although she does whinge when travelling. She doesn’t like thunder and will cower and she runs off when the hoover is in use. She is one big softie! Delta loves fruit and in particular likes apple, peaches and even melon. She enjoys a Sunday dinner and loves raw carrot.
She likes to play with tug toys and squeaky toys. Whilst she also likes to play ball she hasn’t quite got the knack of retrieve! If she is given a bone or hide chew she will lie down and chew them for ages.
This is one lovely girl who really just wants love and attention. She would be great in a family environment or with anyone who has the time to spend with her.
