This young man is just 4 years old and looking for his new forever home. Sadly this is through no fault of his own just a change in the families circumstances.
Cruz is a typical GSD who will bark to alert you that someone is arriving. He will greet you politely, no jumping or mouthing and if you have a treat or a ball you will be a friend for life.
He is fine with older children but a little wary of the younger ones as they tend to move too quickly.
Out and about he is said to be good with other dogs. If he has a ball he is not interested in anything else, but you will need 2 balls to trade.
Cruz does not chew when left. He can be left comfortably for about 4 hours, but at present is rarely left. Whilst he loves his humans he is not a great cuddle monster. Attention is at his command not yours.
He loves water and the hose but not over keen on having an actual wash !!!!!! He is groomed 4 times a year and brushed after every walk.
He enjoys travelling and is happy in the boot of a car, but is not used to being crated.
The volunteers fell in love with this gorgeous boy, and we are sure you will too. He won't be perfect on day one but we are sure he will settle and become your best friend especially if you have ball or 2 !!
