Bob - Cornwall

Bob - Cornwall
This very large and extremely good looking lad is 1 year Bob. Bob has been neutered and his vaccinations are not due until July 2012. He is super with other dogs and doesn’t have a problem with cats. Bob is unknown with children, but as Bob is such a large lad we would advise older children/teenagers. He hasn’t had a very happy start to life so far. Somehow he found himself in a pound at the age of just 5 months!. Bob has a slight problem with his hocks and so his gait is a bit gangly, but despite being told Bob is limited in what he can do, someone forgot to tell Bob !! While in foster he and his playmate sneaked upstairs and were having a whale of a time playing trampoline on Mum and Dad’s bed. He has found stairs no problem whatsoever to negotiate. Bob just wants to play all day and we have to remember that despite his size he is still a very young dog with bags of energy to use up. He travels very well in the car and jumps in with no problems at all. He also loves to swim and this helps build up the strength in his hind legs. He is not in need of any medication, just a good diet and exercise, but as Bob will never be able to do long distances he may suit an older family. His obedience is great as is his recall but as he is a young lad he will need someone who will continue his training. He very occasionally will pull on the lead for first few minutes of a walk but settles very quickly. Bob has just the sweetest nature, and is a real softy. He loves nothing more than lots of cuddles and will reward you with tons of kisses back. He would happily fit into a home with another dog with no problems at all. He is just a super all round happy dog. He is going to make some family very happy indeed.
