Well this little sweetheart is Cookie. Purchased as a pup online but obviously lied to about the breed. Sadly she is too much for her owners and they feel she deserves a better life.
Cookie is a 2 year old unspayed girl who is vaccinated and microchipped.
Cookie needs to learn some boundaries, she is very exciteable and does jump up and mouth, but no aggression just too much excitement.
She currently lives with children but due to her exuberance of wanting to join in with children playing ,we would advise older children who have lived with large dogs.
We have been advised that she is fine with other dogs, having lived with one but this has not been tested.
She cannot live with cats.
Cookie is very sweet natured but boistrous as any young dog is. She has sadly not had a lot of training so is in need of some boundaries.
She loves to play and is happy to share. Out walking she was quite good on the lead, not poulling too much. She hasn't been off laed as at present has zero recall and a high prey drive.... all things that can be worked on.
Cookie seems nervous of men, the volunteer ignored her on entry as she barked at him and baacked away. It took no tie at all for her to realise he was a friend and then wanted to sit on his lap.
In short Cookie may not be a pure GSD but she has a lovely sweet nature and minimal issues. All things that can be easily worked on if you are willing to put in the time.
