Meet the gorgeous Cole who is a looking for a new home as his previous owners' circumstances have changed and he now finds himself spending too much time in kennels.
Cole is a lovely, playful lad who grew up around teenagers and is used to being part of a family. He has been exposed to a busy household. However, Cole has had a couple of incidents with visitors in the home, although he had been provoked. We are looking for an experienced home for Cole in a calmer environment where strangers respect his personal space as he will not tolerate being mishandled, and rightly so! These couple of stressful encounters have left him a little bit wary of men and he will bark to let them know if he's uncomfortable.
Cole has lived with a cat before but still tends to chase so could potentially be rehomed with a very dog-savvy cat.
He has also lived with a small dog who he got along with really well. Cole can be reactive to strange dogs when out on a walk. He will ignore them if they keep their distance though. He has good recall unless there are distractions around.
This clever boy has a lot to offer – he's playful, knows basic commands and is used to being left for a few hours with no issue. He would benefit from some training sessions to overcome his reactivity and would love someone to play tug with and maybe a nice dog brother or sister.
