Chase is 2 years old and sadly lookoing for his 3rd and hopefully final forever home. He has only been with his present owners for a couple of months but due to a change in the families circumstances they feel he would be better placed in a calmer household where he will get the very best training and care.
When the volunteer arrived he was in his crate covered with a blanket, he barked when she knocked on the door, but once let out he was bouncy and excited. He suused out where the treats were in a matter of seconds .
He is great with the kids (who are young and lively). He knows basic commands, will sit and give his paw just a tad snappy in his eagerness to get the treat.
He loves attention, belly rubs and a ball, (avoid tennis balls as they last no longer than a minute)
Out of the home he is strong and does react to other dogs. He wears a halti for control and this seems to work. He was attacked as a youngster and is now probably quite wary. We are sure with time patience and the correct slow introductions he could make a few friends, he just needs that someone willing to put the work in.
A lovely kind boy who needs his new home as a metter of urgency.....
