Cassie is an absolutely stunning looking GSD/collie cross, who is well known to us. She was recently rehomed but sadly this adoption has not been a happy one. Her owner says that she is an ideal dog in almost every respect, other than the most important one for her. She had hoped for another dog to be a companion to her first and sadly the two have proved to be incompatible. Cassie is a very active, attention-seeking dog and, although friendly with others outside, is dominant at home and her brother is feeling bullied and cowed by her.
Cassie would be best in a home as an only dog. She is very affectionate and craves love and attention but she finds it hard to share attention with another. She is so friendly that her owner says that she would make an ideal therapy dog in a care home or hospice.
When she was first rehomed Cassie had some behavioural issues. These have been addressed and she now has much better manners, walks well on the lead, with good recall and she loves water and car travel. She is a good all round faithful and affectionate girl, who just happens to be flamboyantly good looking.
