This is 5 year neutered Carn. Carn is good with older children and dogs he knows and is introduced to correctly, even allowing them in his home. Visitors are welcome in his home as long as he is not at the door to meet them. As long as people come in and he then meets them he is absoultely fine. He allowed our volunteer to handle him and bought him a toy to play with. Carn is good on the lead and has good recall. Having spent a lot of his life with his dad at work on a farming estate, he has not had a lot of socialisation outside of the ‘home environment’ and his dad feels he is overprotective of him in the way he responds to meeting new people and dogs. Due to a change of circumstances, his dad now feels he would be better off with a new family who have the experience and understanding to help him with socialisation outside of the home.
