This rather fetching young man is 13-month old Max. Long coated, black & tan Max is currently entire. Unlike most GSD's Max is not overly vocal but always pleased to see visitors settling quickly once he has been made a fuss of.
Max walks well on the lead and his recall is OK providing there are not too many distractions.
Max has not only lived with four children, aged from 6 upwards, but also another dog and a cat. Although Max gets on very well with his canine companion Max is really quite nervous around other dogs and would benefit from further socialisation.
Sadly Max, despite his young age and pedigree, has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and is currently a little on the thin side reflecting his rather small appetite.
Unfortunately a significant change in personal circumstances mean that Max's owners are having to give up their beloved pet and are hoping to find a long term home for this young fella.
