Update November 2019: BEAUTIFUL BUSTER has been rehomed
Norfolk Male neutered age 3 black and tan semi coat good children not dogs and cats
Buster is a super boy. Well, you can see that. He is kind and affectionate and a 'brilliant' house dog. He is, friendly with visitors and children and he is very much loved by his owners. Our assessor was able to take a toy off him within minutes of meeting him and described him as 'a really lovely dog'.
He is only being rehomed for health reasons. His owner is no longer able to exercise him due to a progressive physical condition and feels that it is unfair on this lovely boy to deprive him of the life that he deserves. He has not been consistently exercised or socialized, recently due to this issue and his recent move from London to Norfolk. These are factors leading to the recent development of Buster's one negative aspect.
Like so many GSDs Buster can sometimes be dog aggressive. It was not possible for our assessor to meet another dog to test this out but we understand that he is unpredictable. When he saw another dog in the distance he did bark aggressively. I am told that Buster has doggy friends with whom he is happy to play off lead but he can take offence and there has been one dog fight.
Buster has never gone to training classes and there is no doubt that he is in need of some consistent work by an energetic owner. Anyone who takes on this boy must realize that this should be addressed but any experienced GSD owner would be able to cope with this, in time,
Buster, he is so gorgeous, would this work put you off - really?
