This stunning fella is 7 year old Buster. This energetic lad is neutered and is good with children having grown up with his owners’ grandchildren ranging in age from 11 months up to 8 years old.
Buster gets on with the vast majority of his fellow canines, although barking at some he is generally inquisitive of other dogs. Buster walks well on the lead, however off the lead Busters’ prey drive will need to be curbed as he does love to chase pretty much anything that moves, at which point his recall becomes somewhat patchy.
Busters’ owner has had him for over 5 years and during that time he has not been a moments trouble, a very friendly chap who has never shown any aggression. However, a significant change of circumstances mean that Buster has been left on his own on a daily basis whilst his owner goes to work. Being left alone had never been an issue for Buster until a couple of months ago when he became destructive without warning and for no apparent reason. Leaving Buster outside in his run just meant that Buster honed his climbing skills to repeatedly escape from the run and at this point his owner took the heart-breaking decision to rehome Buster for his own safety.
Buster has quickly settled into kennel life so much so that despite being exercised off lead in a paddock he has made no attempt to try and escape, hopefully the sign of a reformed character.
Although now settled, kennel life is no life for Buster, he’d ideally like a family life in the country, is that something you could offer this handsome chap?
