This gorgeous little girl is called Burny. Burny is only 10 months old but she has already had two homes, so she's desperate to find her forever family.
She's a friendly girl who's had a rocky start in life and needs to find someone who can meet her needs as a young, sometimes nervous GSD.
Burny was happy to meet our volunteer and jumped up in excitment but soon settled. She then went for a walk and although she pulled a little on the lead, she regularly checked in with our volunteer so she's looking for guidance. Burny can be reactive to strange dogs and some people when she's on the lead, but more out of frustration than aggression. She simply doesn't know how to feel and behave in those situations. She's a clever button who knows basic commands and she loves treats so she can learn to engage with her handler when in stressful situations.
In the home, Burny is a good girl- she's clean and is crate trained.
She has lived with dogs and gets along great with dogs she knows when in an off-lead area. She has never been let off lead when on a walk so her recall might need working on.
Burny is good around cats and she's used to horses as well. She could be rehomed with older children / teenagers as she has lived with them before.
This stunning girl is a little gem and in the right environment she will thrive and make a family very happy.
