Buddy is a truly lovely lively lad who is looking for his new forever home.
He has spent most of his 18 month life living on a chain, until GSDR were called to help him. He is now in a foster home where he is coming along very well. He loves to play and would like an active home where he can have some fun.
Buddy gets on very well with other dogs and would like to live with a dog who can be a role model for him, and be strong enough to keep up with him. He has not lived with children but will sit on command and enjoy being petted by them. Buddy is not know with cats or small animals so he would like a home with out please.
Buddy had not been taught anything in his previous home but is showing he is keen to learn and wants to please you. So any adopters will need to continue with his training, the only problem Buddy has at the moment is separation anxiety and this will need to be worked on slowly, He will bark and howl for a few mins when he is left so if you have close neighbors he may not be the dog for you. Buddy can also be a little scared if you raise your arms up or jump up quickly, and sudden noises can make him jump but he is getting better with this all the time. He has been crate trained and currently sleeps in a crate at night.
With the right active home Buddy is going to make a fabulous member of your family, as he has not lived with children we would like him in an adult home or with older teenage children who can help with his training and exercise.
