Bruno is a handsome boy who is now in kennels with us after his owner could no longer look after him due to mental health issues.
Bruno is 16 month old entire male Belgian Malinois x GSD.
We have spoken to a dog trainer who knows Bruno from training and they have commented he is not a working dog. He needs an active home.
Bruno does come across initially as full-on and bouncy, but this is mainly due to not having enough stimulation, attention or exercise at home. He has never shown any aggression.
He has lived with older children in the past and can do so in his new home.
He has not lived with cats but does have a strong prey drive and will chase.
Bruno has lived with other dogs in the past and can live with another female. He will react to other dogs while out on a walk.
Bruno will need someone experienced who understands the breed and has a lot of time and patience for Bruno and will help him build confidence. He has spent most of his life crated and if left alone he would bark for 1-2 hours before settling. He has never had appropriate home alone training so this will need building up from scratch.
