Bruno Failed By RSPCA
RSPCA German Shepherd Dog Neglected Tragedy!
It is our opinion the Bruno was failed by the rspca
AUGUST 2009 - Sadly Bruno had to be put to sleep last week after a lifetime of neglect. He was sold to the rescue for £200 (the only way we could get him out) but was suffering from advanced lymphoma and kidney failure. The owner knew the dog was ill but had not taken him to see a vet. He was in our care for just 2 weeks. These are his last days.
SADLY BRUNO DIED A WEEK AFTER WE HAD TO BUY HIM FROM HIS CRUEL OWNER
This was our handsome lad enjoying freedom
Freedom from lying on cold concrete, out in all weathers and denied basic comforts. The Animal Welfare Act was supposed to help dogs like this. Bruno certainly never enjoyed the 5 freedoms.

Bruno - these look interesting!!
Bruno was keen to explore his new surroundings and enjoy his new freedom
Bruno enjoying a spot of home comforts
Enjoying a lie down after a dip in the pond! He must have thought all his Christmasses had come at once
Bruno - this is just heaven
This picture paints a thousand words
Bruno - this handsome boy was neglected and abused most of his life
That beautiful face. He was so grateful and happy in his final days
Bruno - running
Sadly Bruno's freedom was short lived. He had to be put to sleep as he was suffering from advanced lymphoma and kidney failure. We did all we could but he was suffering - just like he suffered most of his life. He died with dignity and not shut out on a cold concrete floor without shelter. We are so sorry that we couldn't do more for you.
Bruno, your suffering is over. RIP Bruno.
