This is Bruce, this boy has been more or less isolated in the kitchen for the last 3 years so has not been exposed to much in the outside world ie dogs/cats. His last good run was the owners say quite a while ago (years even), they say he pulls on the lead so can't walk him and he isnt too socialised with other dogs. When our volunteers arrived he was shut in the kitchen, when let out he greeted them with squeals of excitement and sniffed their hands then licked them. He wasnt taken off the premises, as owner said it would be too difficult to get the lead on him. So although we have seen Bruce, and assessed the fact he is fed, watered and part of a family (albeit not walked) We need to find an experienced home where they can offer Bruce a quiet introduction into normal daily life and hopefully make it back into the big wide world instead of living life mainly in the back garden.If anyone can help re introduce this poor handsome lad into a proper home and routine please urgently get in touch.
