This beautiful shepherd is 8 years young and acts and appears like a much younger dog. Bruce has never lived inside the home, he is used to outdoor life and crated at night within an integral garage. He greeted our assessor with a bark and exuberant jumping around, very glad of the company and definitely happy for a fuss and a treat. Current owner admits that Bruce has not had much training in his life and hasn't been socialised much in the big wide world, however he is happy in the car when travelling to vets etc and when our assessor took Bruce out for a walk (on a harness), he was strong and obviously excited to be out, did not react to a dog barking at him or indeed the dog walker, happy to just ignore them both and enjoy the smells of the grass. Bruce is a talkative dog and everything you say to him he responds with his own unique sound - quite comical apparently. Bruce is a lovely dog and will need to find an owner who is willing to introduce him into indoor life, especially when his coat is currently equal to that of a polar bear! Bruce has never lived in a family environment just used to one person interacting with him on a daily basis. Bruce is so friendly we are sure the right home will have one fabulous dog once he is allowed to gently get back into indoor living.
