This stunning dog is 2 year old Rex. Rex is entire and fully vaccinated. This poor young lad came in as his owner was due to have a baby and was concerned as Rex has not been socialised with children, how he would react. Rex is an extremely strong and powerful young man and was very protective of his home and family. This has led him to be wary of strangers but he has never shown aggression, just barked at them.
Rex walks well on the lead and loves to play with his ball and other toys. He has not met many dogs and can be wary at first. This big strong lad is extremely scared of fireworks and loud noises and will bark at them.
Rex?s perfect home would be somewhere with a lot of land where this boy can stretch his legs. We would not re-home him with children due to his size and lack of socialisation. All Rex needs is an experienced GSD owner who can guide him towards having the right social skills and give him the assurance he needs to enable him to relax and enjoy life rather than feel he must be the protector. He is currently in the Bristol area.
