Meet Brandy, a 4 year old girl who is on the lookout for a new home as her previous owners sadly cannot meet her needs anymore. Brandy is a nervous girl and it takes her a little while to trust people, but once she knows you she is an absolute sweetheart. When our volunteer went to meet her, she was vocal at first and did a little growl -although this is out of fear, not aggression- and she soon settled for some tasty treats.
This gorgeous girl has not seen much of the outside world since lockdown and this really has affected her confidence. She did enjoy going for a walk with our volunteer though and was overall good on the lead. Brandy has lived with another dog before so a confident friend could maybe help her come out of her shell. This sensitive girl would thrive with someone who can let her move at her own pace and gain her trust.
Surely with some love and patience and steady exposure to new people and new environments, Brandy will turn into a happy and well balanced dog.
