Meet Bran who is a castrated male of 6 years old.
Despite being told he was nervous, Bran wasn't when he met our volunteer with whom he was very friendly, loved having a fuss and especially liked having his belly rubbed.
He allowed our volunteer to look in his ears, in his mouth and checked him all over. He was such a good boy.
Bran loves hi walks and tends to go to the toilet when out walking rather than using the garden. Our volunteer took him out for a walk, he inquisitively pulled a little but then settled down.
He doesn't like being left alone and will cry and bark if left. He was never left at home with his original owners but he is now living with their daughter who does have to leave him. She has to rehome him because she is in rented accommodation where dogs are not allowed.
He loves to be with people and will follow them around the house. He sometimes cries at night when they go to bed.
Our volunteer says he is gorgeous, very friendly and placid when around people.
Quite a handsome boy too, the photo doesn't do him justice.
When out if he sees another dog he will bark at them but wag his tail. He is not aggressive towards them, he wants to play.
Bran does not like cats but he lived with a Newfoundland previously.
He hasn't lived with children before so we think an adult only home or one with teenagers would be best for him.
