This beautiful girl is Bonny a 3 year old, spayed female German shepherd cross looking for a new home as she is just not suited to her current one.
Bonny currently lives with another female dog and gets on well with her. They play together and enjoy each other’s company. Sadly though this isn’t enough for Bonny when her current family go out and she will cry and chew items she finds. Due to this Bonny needs a home with someone who is able to get her used to being left in a safe area of the house and let her learn that being on her own is ok.
Bonny is friendly with everyone she meets and welcomes visitors nicely. She has been around young children so has experience with them. She enjoys her walks and loves to investigate everything! This does mean though that sometimes she forgets to listen when you call her so her recall training does need working on. She will also need a secure garden as she has shown some escape artist tendencies!
Bonny would happily share with another dog but has never been around cats. Our volunteer described her as having a “friendly, gentle nature.” Do you have room for Bonny?
