Bongo's owner is concerned for the safety of her baby and wishes to rehome him after having him for 3 years. Our assessor saw no sign of any aggression towards people or other dogs.
However, Bongo has taken to destroying the baby's things and urinating on them, so it sounds like jealousy. He was very friendly towards our assessor, licking him, taking treats gently and allowing him to touch freely. Bongo walked quietly with our assessor and showed no particular interest in passers-by or other dogs
We think that, in the hands of an experienced owner, Bongo would be fine, but we would not take the risk of rehoming him with young children
