Bodie - North East

Meet Bodie, a friendly and stunning 6 year old boy on the lookout for a new home. Bodie's routine has changed since a family member has moved out of his previous home and he now suffers from seperation anxiety and displays destructive behaviours. He is looking for a new home with someone who can give him the time and attention he needs.
Bodie is a lovely boy who was happy to greet our volunteer and settled on the sofa for a cuddle. He's a very good boy in the home and is also crate trained, although he doesn't like being crated when nobody's home and will try and get out.
Bodie is good with children. He has never lived with another dog but he is friendly with the dogs he meets on his walks so could potentially be rehomed with a four-legged friend. He has not been tested with cats or other small animals.
Bodie went for a walk with our volunteer and after the initial excitment he calmed down and walked nicely with a dogmatic on. He doesn't react to the people or dogs he sees when he's out and about. Bodie has good recall, unless he sees a dog he wants to make friends with so this needs to be worked on.
Bodie is a gem of a dog and desperately needs someone who can spend a lot of time with him. His little world has been turned upside down and this is making him very upset. His new owner will need to be patient and give him some time to settle down into his new life. This will be so rewarding as Bodie will be the perfect dog.
