Bobby - West Yorks

Bobby was on the run for 3 weeks, he was captured did several weeks in the stray kennels and sadly was going to be PTS but we arranged to take him on the day he was due to be PTS.

He’s such a wonderful, sweet boy. He’s a little worried around men definitely more comfortable with females. Does not react to other dogs when out and about. He can be a little nervous with certain traffic but I’m taking him out a few times a week to help him with this. He was really worried about jumping in the van but did some positive training to help him and now he is happy to jump in.

He does tend to lean in to your legs when stood still but this I’d say is for comfort so we reassure him. He’s such a special boy and has put on weight since he’s been with us, he’s now fed on raw. Unsure what he’d be like in a home but he doesn’t seem destructive in his kennel. He’s such a sweetheart and I’m sure will be a great companion, but once again he does favour females.
