Blake is a good boy but he is exuberant and excitable due to being left for long periods of time and not enough exercise. He greeted our volunteer like a jumping bean but within minutes Blake gave good eye contact and was happy to listen and sit quietly on command, therefore anyone taking on this boy will just need to go back to basics, give him the exercise he needs and we believe Blake will be an absolute star. Blake currently gets short walks and he does pull strongly on lead but off lead he is good and happy around other dogs. In the home he lives and meets children who he is good around but very excitable due to his high energy levels. Blake currently lives with a cat who he is fine with but will chase if sees others outside. Blake is a lovely dog who just needs some time and a good exercise regime and he will be one perfect companion.
