Just 20 months old and at that age where Bill knows best! Behaves very well for his dad but when he's at work will protect mum and the children (9 years upwards) and can intimidate friends who call round by grumbling or barking. On the assessment Bill greeted our assessor with a bark, went and sat under the table for a minute then popped back up and wanted a fuss, appeared a very affectionate dog. Anyone who has owned a shepherd will know the above sounds familiar and we feel that in the right home and with continued training and confident owner, Bill will settle right down. Bill has been to classes when younger and does know the basics which he demonstrated beautifully i.e. sit, paw, down. Outside he is strong on the lead, only dad walks him and because he can be vocal he isn't socialised with other dogs, just walked on a long line keeping himself to himself. So if this beautiful, albeit stubborn strong boy is the kind of shep you relish bringing on then Bill's your dog. Vaccinated , microchipped, neutered and up to date with flea, worm treatments.
