Betty is a lovely, friendly, slim built, 20 month young un-spayed girl.
We were greeted by a lively, bright eyed, intelligent, beautiful, happy girl with her ears stood to attention.
She showed us no fear or aggression; she loved individual attention & cuddles.
She needs firm human interaction, guidance and support to learn doggy social etiquette, she pulls a little on the lead & reacts to the sight or presence of other animals, obedience training is a work in progress; she is great with kids (6yrs+), cats & travels well.
She has been with her owner since the age of 12 weeks, however, the owner is re-homing because she hasn’t got the time to give this girl sole attention to doggy socialise her, she tends to be nervous and stressed amongst other dogs & this shows as apparent aggression. She will benefit from positive training, patience & time by her new family and they will reap the rewards.
Betty was well behaved on a one to one basis but showed a little jealousy when joined by her four legged house mates by barking and trying to see them off.
She is house trained, does not chew furniture, likes to lay in a shallow paddling pool or swim in the sea to cool off, she like a brush & comb, she sleeps on a bed in a crate or under the main bed to create a secluded & secure sanctuary.
This young lady just needs a little time & effort so she will become a loyal, loving, life long companion.
