Bess is looking for a new home due to no fault of her own, her owner is sadly not well and is struggling to walk all the dogs and have no choice but to find Bess a new family whilst she’s still young.
Bess has been with her present owners since 6 months old, she lives on a farm and after having several walks a day she then spends the rest of the day in a pen looking after her home and surroundings. On an evening she will either go in the house or settle in another big kennel outside which is located next to the house. Her present family love her dearly and she has a great bond with her dad, in-fact she only had eyes for him.
I spent a few hours with Bess and although she is very shy she did eventually come down the lane with me on a walk. It is clear that Bess will need a calm, knowledgeable owner as she really does lack confidence. She has not been off site and this shows in how nervous she is around traffic and did pull back. I know that if someone would put the time in and build her confidence then she will make a perfect companion. I also think she would benefit from having another male dog in the house, one that can show her the ropes and help with her confidence when out and about.
If I had room I would seriously snap this lovely girl up, she is beautiful.
