This is Bertie, a lovely male Crossbreed aged 2 years. He was born without a tail so we’re not sure what he is crossed with. Size wise, he’s smaller than he looks in his pictures about the size of a beagle.
He is a friendly boy and absolutely loves playing in the garden. Although Bertie is with another Rescue, he’s at the same kennels as our dogs so our Volunteer has been spending time to get to know him. Bertie is frightened of the lead, once over his head he will freeze, so we’ve been using a harness and encouraging him to move forward. He’s making great progress, albeit we only get to the top of the hill we then have to carry him back.
Bertie needs out of kennels and needs a home where people will be patient with him and continue to build his confidence with walking on an harness and showing him the big wide world.
