Young Jax is a GSDX American Akita. He was rescued by his current owners about 6 months ago and is now sadly looking for his 3rd and final home.
Jax is walked on a long line as he has very little recall. Would chase those furries and pheasants given half a chance. He does get on with other dogs and enjoys boistrous play. He is untested around cats .
He could live with children but due to his size and exuberance we will only rehome with older children.
Jax is very food orientated so this will make training simple, it also works well when a distraction is needed. He knows all his basic commands.
Jax has a tendency to be territorial in his home and is not keen on visitors to the house especially the postman who he thinks he scares away everyday by jumping at the door!! He is not keen on men in uniform.
Moving forward we feel that Jax would excel in a quiet home with clear boundaries and control. He is still young and really deserves to find a family who can commit to him for life as he will make a cracking companion.
