7 year old Benson is in need of a new home due to current owner not able to look after him anymore due to illness. Benson greeted our assessor with a bark and a growl but quickly settled and was happy to have some company. Unfortunately Benson hasn't been walked for a while and is at the moment quite excitable but normally he does walk well on the lead but is reactive to other dogs so tends to be kept around quiet areas and he is happy with his own company. Benson is used to being groomed and likes a brush (except around his tail). Benson is fantastic around children from babies upwards. He is used to being in the home or equally happy out in a run and kennel. Benson could do with finding a new start with someone prepared to put in the time with a little re training and prepared to accept his wariness around other dogs. His vaccinations are up to date but he is not microchipped.
