The very lovely Beau is being rehomed due to a change in her current owner's circumstances. She has been in her current home for a year.
Our volunteer found Beau to be very relaxed in the home and brilliant with children. She has also lived with small animals (hamsters) and doesn't show any form of prey drive towards them, she does however have a strong hatred of cats so is a definite no to being rehomed with them.
She has been described as being reactive to other dogs when out but our volunteer took Beau for a walk in the park and felt it was a combination of a lack of socialisation and slight nervousness, with a confident owner she would learn to interact with dogs properly. She would benefit from being the only dog in the home at least initially.
Beau is very ball driven which will be beneficial with any training.
