Baxter is 17months old, he’s always lived in a family environment, and on request he can.... sit, down, paw, other paw, wait, speak / bark, nearly getting the hang of heel, will let go of items in his mouth on request. when playing with toys or a ball he will "find it" and go look for it. He is happy to use a crate and go in his crate on request.
He's been brilliant with all people he’s met and good with children as far as we know as he has lived with children with no issues. He's good with dogs but has no manners and tends to just charge in. Not so good at recall. So in short, Baxter is a nice dog with a high drive for life / play, and his owner couldn’t give him the time needed for him to be his best. He’s environmentally sound and not much bothers him. He has been assessed and although he needs an active home that’s going to put lots of time and training into his future, he is not suited to any type of security / protection work.
