Barid is one of two 3 legged dogs that recently came to us from Egypt after a desperate plea from a rescue over there.
Barid is a 3 legged boy that is a maximum of 2 years old. A guy called a shelter and claimed that he had found the dog on a street with an amputated leg. He said he would keep him for a week to look for owners.
He then took Barid to the shelter and all the workers there are certain that this guy was the owner of Barid. The way the dog looked at the owner was heartbreaking.
Barid is an adorable boy who wants to live but unfortunately didn't have a chance in Egypt because as sad as it sounds, they do not adopt handicapped dogs over there.
GSDR offered to help find this beautiful badly treated boy a home. All costs associated with his travel were met by people outside of GSDR and Barid is now in kennels in Newport waiting for a new mum and dad to come and pick him up. Barid is castrated, microchipped and has his own passport
