Banjo - Cambridgeshire

REHOMED

LONELY BANJO

Banjo is being rehomed through no fault of his own. He is a good boy and has no issues. Sadly though his owner's circumstances and work commitments mean that Banjo is left three days each week for fourteen hours.

His owner has tried to cope with this by part time fostering but Banjo is bonded and living in two homes disturbed him. He was rescued from an abusive setting by his current owner and he still has memories of being forced to stay outside alone all day. He is still nervous of being abandoned, even in his own garden. Being cared for temporarily each week brought back unwelcome memories for him.

We are confident that Banjo will be able to be rehomed successfully to another full time owner. He needs to bond and to be given company. He is just lonely when left for so long. It brings back abandonment issues for him. His present lifestyle is not what his owner wants for him.

Our assessor describes Banjo as 'relaxed and friendly', when with his owner. He has good basic training. He tends to pull slightly on a short lead but is better when the lead is extended. He does have good recall and is a handy boy and loves to travel in the car.

Poor lonely Banjo is looking for love and companionship in a forever home. Have you a niche for him in your life?
