REHOMED
Badger is a 7 year old, black and tan entire male. Badger sadly needs to be rehomed due to current owners chronic progressive illness.
He has been living with another entire male who has recently been rehomed through GSDR. He has also lived with a GSD bitch previously.
Badger is a very friendly GSD and loves to please. He loves his walks but unfortunately his owner cannot give him the exercise he needs due to illness. For this reason, he pulls on the lead, and feels strong, but settles after a short while. A dogmatic collar or halti should help with this, however will not be a substitute for the walks he craves.
He was excited to be in the park where we encountered other dogs on leads and he did not react. He is friendly with other people.
In the house he is a settled dog, and loves to show you his toys. He played with his bone whilst I was there. He does not show any signs of food or toy aggression (has lived happily with other dogs). He is good with children, and my 7 year old daughter came with me on the second occasion to meet Badger, and he was happy to show her his trick by “speaking†on command. He will also sit, stay, and down.
Badger will give somebody real enjoymnet, as he is a dog so happy to please. He is great with kids and people, cats are an unknown at this stage.
