Arya is a short haired spayed girl sadly looking for a new home after the dog that she lives with had an altercation with the landlords cat and he has threatened eviction if the dogs are not rehomed. Arya was privately adopted via Pets for homes in 2019 when she was approximately 20 months old.
It certainly isn't what the owners want but they also don't want to loose their home.
THe volunteer found a very sweet girl when she entered the property. Arya was keen to give nudges and kisses in the hopw of receiving some tasty treats. She was also happy to settle by the volunteer whilst the paperwork was being done.
Wghen going out for a walk she was extremely keen to be out and does pull on the lead. She was happy to try and chase a deer but there was no killer instinct more the fun of the chase, but easy to distract and move on. She wagged her tail at the calm dog and its owner but is said to bark if she is barked at. She took no notice of a group of cyclists. She calmed down as the walk progressed and walked slightly better on the lead but this will need some work. Arrival at home was calm
The volunteer definitley had a soft spot for this sweetheart She is not old but would excel in the home with human cuddles and attention. She has lovely soft eyes and a smile. She is food orientated and this could work well in her training Whilst not perfect, needing some lead work and commands, she is fairly close purely due to her lovely personality
