UPDATE JAN 2018: ANNA NEEDS A HOME URGENTLY AS CAN NO LONGER STAY IN HER CURRENT HOME - CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE? Anna came to us in the spring from Romania. She currently lives with 4 dogs and 2 cats and gets along well with all humans. She is keen to learn and knows the basic commands, also good on lead as long as she has the chance to stretch her legs, unfortunately her prey drive is very strong probably survivng in Romania and can be food aggressive. She is a sweet lovable young girl and thrives on attention and rewards. Anna is crate trained but happy to sleep anywhere. She loves to play and would do so all day with her fellow dogs. My problem is our guest dogs as she becomes very protective and shows aggression when in the home. She has also been forceful with any guest dog to the point they get scared. Anna doesn't take lightly to being told to do things she doesn't really want to do and can be very stubborn, that's all part of her make-up and loveable character (butter wouldn't melt look) The farm poses too much of a temptation and she has gone missing on 3 occasions already chasing prey. The concern is that she will wander into a farmer's field who has smaller livestock and will end up being shot. Her mum is heartbroken and feeling a failure and would love to find her a home that is not a business and shecan be happy with a family with other permanent dogs.
