Amber is a petite little girl who is fantastic in the home but another lockdown pupster who is now struggling with more and more visitors appearing and she doesnt know how to cope. Some people she ignores, others she is nervous of and appears anxious.
Our volunteers let Amber come to them in her own time - it wasnt an immediate thing, it was very gently gently. They introduced their older male shepherd and Amber was very quiet and curious but no reaction whatsoever, therefore living with a calm male may help.
Outside Amber is good on the lead and doesnt appear to bother about people or other dogs, she just stays close to her owner and has complete focus on them. She loves to play ball and on the whole has good recall. If there is water around then Amber will be the first one in - she loves it!
Anyone who has the time and patience to bring this little one out of her shell and bring her confidence levels higher would certainly get a pal for life, she'll definitely be shy at the initial meeting and may need to see you a few times, therefore someone local to the area maybe best to help Amber.
